Valtaud eaux-de-vieFor this release, Valtaud selected very old eaux-de-vie drawn from pastYears of the Horse, combining them to evoke qualities traditionally Grande Champagneassociated with the animal, including vitality, elegance, and controlled Valtaudenergy. The blend is composed primarily of eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, the prestigious terroir where Valtaud was born and con- tinues to live. The resulting cognac is noted for its aromatic richness and balance. On the nose, it reveals honey, candied fruit, floral notes, and subtle aged Baccarat nuances. The palate offers red fruit and black currant, complementedby gentle sweetness, volume, and length. The presentation is equally considered. Created in collaboration with Maison Martell Baccarat, the mouth-blown crystal decanter is crowned with a deepred horses head stopper and rests on a golden pedestal.
